A historic wausau landmark

With over a 135 year-old history, The Glass Hat was here before planes, television, basketball, and even mojitos and margaritas. It has seen the era of prohibition and the Great Depression. Gary Gisselman, chair of the Wausau Historic Preservation Commission expressed, "We wanted to recognize that element of our history by designating it as a City of Wausau landmark."
